No CDL and no endorsement — a standard driver's licence is all it takes. Every driver must be 25 or older, named on the rental agreement, and bring their licence to the handoff. It is 34 feet and it drives like a Dream, and every system is covered in the walkthrough before you depart.

Ten berths in total: a king in the master bedroom, a full bed over the cab, bunks, two pull-out couches and a dinette conversion bed. Ten works with kids in the mix; for a group of adults, six is the realistic number. Either way there are eight seatbelts, so eight is the maximum number of passengers permitted while the RV is moving.

THE smartest Floor Plan for Dinner, Games and Hangout: the Dining Table faces the Couch rather than sitting against a wall, which is rare in a Class A. With the swivel seats turned around and a few lawn chairs added, you can seat 12.

Insurance comes with the rental — a $500,000 policy, charged at $49 a day. On a claim you cover the deductible, up to $1,000 per event. You keep your own AAA roadside assistance for the trip.

9 AM start time, 6 PM end time. Times outside 11 AM and 3 PM may carry a half-day charge. A late return is $200.

Yes — delivery, setup and pickup are $5 a mile, charged round trip. Give us the destination and we will work out the figure.

100 free miles / day are included. Longer trips are welcome — miles beyond that are $1 each, settled when you bring it back. Share your route when you book and we will work it out up front.

4 generator hours a day are included, which covers typical evening air conditioning and morning use. Beyond that it is $4 an hour, settled when you return. Campground quiet hours, generally 10pm to 7am, must be observed.

Pet friendly — dogs are welcome with a $125 fee. No cats. No smoking inside the RV at any time; a violation forfeits the security deposit.

Yes to both — Music festival friendly and Tailgating friendly. The RV is set up for it, with an Outdoor TV, an outside shower, a power awning, and add-ons for EZups, tables, lawn chairs and 64-qt ice chests.

Call the owner first, at any hour. Most issues can be resolved over the phone. Mechanical faults originating with the vehicle are never charged to the renter.

First-time renters

If this is your first RV rental.

A substantial share of renters have never driven anything larger than a pickup. Additional time is set aside at the walkthrough for first-time renters, at no charge.

Mention it when you inquire and the walkthrough is paced accordingly, with recommendations for straightforward campgrounds nearby. If you would prefer not to drive it, delivery can be quoted to your site.
